MOONLIT

MoonLit​ is an artist-led organization founded in 2017. Through accessible and engaging workshops and events, MoonLit creatively connects community in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Learn more or be in touch at MoonLitDC.com.

From 2017-2020, MoonLit ran programming during two primary seasons each year: Fall (September-December) and Spring (March-June). During this time, our programming included:

  • Creativity and Writing-Centric Workshops; ​

  • Literary Events, including:

    • Literary Salons; 

    • Readings; 

    • Creative Retreats;

    • Pop-Up and Virtual Events.

  • Monthly Write-Ins;

  • Seasonal Poetry Hikes; 

  • A Yearly "Lit Crawl," with Barrelhouse Magazine; 

  • Partnerships with local bookstores and cultural organizations; 

  • And More!  

 

Please note: MoonLit is currently on hiatus due to the outbreak of COVID. We look forward to getting lit with you when health conditions allow. Until then, check out our website with information on pop up events.
